Progress Report

I've gotten pretty good grades so far, the only thing that's not so hot is this blog... Got any suggestions to make it better? How about a cool pic?

This is a Blue Jay, photographed in my own backyard. It is an interesting fact that Blue Jays do not have blue pigment, but it is actually reflected light that makes it blue! This is a similar reason for why the sky is blue.

This is one of 54 species we've seen and photographed in our yard in KC, MO. Photographing birds is a great hobby, and birds can be so beautiful!
